"Let me listen to me, and not them."
Gertrude Stein
Even best friends, however well-meaning, may have their own ideas about what you should or shouldn't do. Those who've know you the longest may have the most fixed ideas about what's possible for you.
A coach is a perceptive and unbiased helper. A genuine "sounding board". Whole Life Coaching is founded on an unstoppable belief in your potential.
Close friends, or partners, may also not be willing to 'get tough' with you where it's needed, or have the skills to do so.
A coach is a trained expert in people development - I've got loads of techniques & exercises that can help you develop the clarity you need to get to where you want to be. Plus the experience of helping many women make the kinds of life enhancements that you're thinking of.
With friends, the airtime tends to be shared. In a "Whole Life" coaching session, the airtime is all yours. I'm not waiting to tell you about what I did at the weekend!
A coach is an expert listener. An expert listener doesn't just listen TO you, they help you listen to yourself.
Whole Life Coaching gives you the quality thinking time that's so hard to find.
You'll find lots of people happy to give you their advice. And, yes, other peoples' ideas can be useful. In fact if you're deciding about, say, financial investments, for example, expert advice is pretty important. However, when what you're after are answers to the big questions about YOUR life, other people's answers don't necessarily help.
Coaches (as distinct from mentors and trainers) do not give advice. (Although I might share ideas if you want them.)
I use a wide variety of tools and exercises to draw out your own resources, and I am highly skilled at asking the right questions.
You already have
the answers you need to get started, although you may not know it. Together we’ll find them.
'you-time'.
